One day, two passionate sisters made the exciting decision to specialize in textured hair, setting their vision in motion by opening a natural hair salon that celebrated and enhanced the beauty of natural hair. They understood that before any processing or chemicals, there existed the God – given texture, and their mission was to elevate and nurture it. When one sister moved to Texas, it led to the closure of their beloved salon, but their commitment never wavered. Soon after, Shelita followed with a burning desire to continue serving and educating people about natural hair care, recognizing and even greater need in Texas. That’s how Naturally Indicated Coils Etc. ( N. I. C. E.) was born.
